Raising a child is not always easy. Kids learn fast, but we must be consistent so that they can acquire proper moral values and help them later in their adult life. Many times, parents do not know how to instill this type of ethical values in their children. So we propose some ideas to learn how to educate children with ethical values .
1. The first thing you have to do to educate our children with ethical values to identify these values, and you do not always know exactly what we want to instill. Thus, issues such as friendship , kindness and gentleness with others, tolerance , respect for other ethnicities, love of nature , the common good or the greatest respect, ethical values are good to learn.
2. It is important that parents set a good example. If we try to get our kids to be nice and kind to others, but then we are not, they receive mixed signals. So if you're constantly telling them to love nature, but then are the first to throw down and waste paper, will not understand anything. For this reason it is important to submit a correct code of ethics when we act in front of children.
3. One way to teach is to ask . We can instill but then we must ensure that our young have assimilated lessons well. Therefore, ask the children if they know to differentiate what is right and what is wrong is a good idea. We can ask them to give us examples of positive and negative attitudes from the ethical point of view. Themselves what they think about good and evil.
4. It is also important for children to take a self-direction. Ie guide is fine, but they themselves have to make decisions and know when they are wrong. If we encourage you to always do what we think is right, they can not see the possible consequences of bad actions.
5. We can bring them everyday examples . In our daily life we find situations that will be conducive to explain with examples what they are certain ethical values. For example, in the nursery, when our children make contact with other children, we must promote tolerance among his new friends, teaching them that a good attitude with others creates a pleasant gaming environment for all.
6. Furthermore, when we see examples of ethical values without an attitude we can report them openly. If we walk with our children and we as a wall full of graffiti, we can tell our children that this is not right, it is not and does not respect the civic commons that we enjoy in society.
